Every Great Book Begins with a Story Worth Telling

To the Reader Who Feels Like Their Brain Has 47 Tabs

Open… I See You

If you’ve ever walked into a room and forgotten why you were there, opened your laptop and somehow landed on 18 different unrelated tasks, or felt like your thoughts were running a marathon without your permission… welcome. You’re not broken. You’re human. Maybe a little ADHD human. And maybe that’s exactly what brought you to one of my books.

I didn’t write these books to lecture you or to throw a bunch of textbook jargon your way. I wrote them because I know how exhausting it can be to try so hard and still feel like you’re falling behind in a world built for people with tidy brains and color-coded planners.

Let me be clear — ADHD isn’t a character flaw. It’s not laziness. And it’s definitely not something you “should’ve grown out of by now.” It’s a different wiring. One that comes with its own set of strengths, if we learn how to work with our brains instead of constantly trying to fight them.

My mission with every book I publish — whether it’s about ADHD, parenting, anxiety, or the joys of trying to do all three at once — is simple: to meet you where you are, and help you build a life that feels just a little more doable.

You won’t find judgment in my pages. You’ll find strategies. Encouragement. The occasional pep talk in disguise. And above all, permission to breathe.

You don’t have to be perfectly organized to have a good day. You don’t have to fix everything overnight. You just need small shifts. One page at a time.

I’m honored to be part of your journey — even if you’re reading this at 2 a.m. while hyperfocused on everything except sleep.

You’re not alone. And you’re not a mess. You’re a masterpiece… just with a slightly chaotic brush.
